Wispr Flow operates through a desktop or mobile app that captures audio from the microphone and sends it to cloud servers for processing. The architecture comprises three main stages: (1) raw speech recognition via Whisper, (2) contextual language processing using large language models to understand intent and context, and (3) final text reformatting and styling according to the active application (e.g., email client, text editor, or chat app).
