Mastra Factory is an open-source (Apache 2.0) framework for building autonomous AI agents that reason, remember, and act using TypeScript. Developed by Mastra, it bridges the gap between rapid prototyping and production-grade systems by providing a comprehensive abstraction layer over Large Language Models (LLMs) with built-in memory, tools, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and full observability.

Architecture Overview

Mastra Factory is built on a Multi-Agent Architecture where developers can define independent agents, each with its own personality, tools, and memory. The system comprises four core layers:
