What is Argo CD?

Argo CD is an open-source Continuous Delivery tool that follows the GitOps methodology for Kubernetes applications. It automates the deployment of applications to multiple environments by syncing the live cluster state with the desired state defined in Git repositories. With a web UI, CLI, and API, Argo CD provides full visibility and control over the application lifecycle, ensuring the live cluster always matches the desired state.

The problem it solves

In complex Kubernetes environments, manual deployment management is error-prone and hard to track. Argo CD solves this by making Git the single source of truth, enabling quick rollbacks, full auditability, and self-healing that automatically restores the cluster to the correct state upon any drift.
